Dedication to Authors Unknown
This page is lovingly dedicated to those who have anonymously shared beautiful, thought-provoking words. I have come across some words from “Authors Unknown” that have touched me deeply, and their words remain forever etched in my heart. I share them here.

There is a place where you are not alone,
where your voice sings with every voice that has ever sung,
or will ever sing.
In this place you know that no encounter was ever wasted
and that no face passed you by unnoticed in the crowd.
Here you are allowed to choose again,
and in this time you decide not to discount or overlook anyone.
You move quickly past no one merely to get to
someone else who pleases you more.
Now you cannot see a single one you do not welcome,
and in the harmlessness of your vision,
all return your gentle gaze.

FLOW
Be as water is without friction. Flow around the edges of those
within your path. Surround
within your ever-moving
depths those who come to rest
there - enfold them, while never
for a moment holding on. Accept whatever distance others
are moved, within your flow.
Be with them gently, as far as
they allow your strength to take them, and fill with your own being
the remaining space when they are left behind.
When dropping down life's rapids, froth and bubble into
fragments if you must,
knowing the one of you-now many
will just as manytimes be one again. And when
you've gone as far as you can go,
quietly await your next beginning.

never try to speak its name.
Never violate your own sense of right and wrong,
no matter how sound the logic.
You may experience disagreements; so be it.
Disagreements are better than the bloodshed, genocide and loss of awareness
that come from denying personal accountability.
In your last day, the measure of your life is made by no hand
other than your own.
No one whom you have served will stand for you.
No one whom you have offended will cry out for justice.
Yet, perfect justice there shall be.
In the last hour, your heart unfolds the only truth there has ever been:
you are accountable.
The flickering of the eternal flame,
the great inexpressible mystery - feel it.
Without voice or thought, be its silent prayer,
but never try to speak its name.

Guidance
When I meditated on the word guidance, I kept seeing “dance” at the end of the word.
I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.
The movement doesn't flow with the music,
and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
When one person relaxes and lets the other lead,
both bodies begin to flow with the music.
One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing lightly in one direction or another.
It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person
and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word guidance.
When I saw “G”, I thought of God, followed by “u” and “i”.
God, “u” and “i” dance.
God, you and I dance.
This statement is what guidance means to me.
As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust
that I would get guidance about my life.
Once again, I became willing to let God lead.
