“Petals of a Lotus”

Glistening beneath the sun
Dewdrops on the petals of a lotus
Trickle down in playful fun
As the petals open before us

Sparkling upon
Our eyes full of wonder
See inside the lotus
Two spirits joined together

Such a day is this for freedom
As the love of the flower
Opens up their beloved kingdom
Where they'll live happily after

For they shall love forever
And with joy they shall sing
Feather to feather
And wing to wing
