“Halloween”

big round moon
holding up the sky
with a witch on her broom
flying by

smiling pumpkins
menacing ones too
lit from within
as they stare back at you

ghosts and goblins
create such a fright
monsters too
as they creep thru the night

if these creatures
come to your door
give them some treats
or they'll scare you some more

once a year on this shadowy night
all of these things can be seen
for these are the sights
of Halloween
