“I Am a Presence”

As sure as the sun wakes up the earth
as morning dew sparkles like diamonds
giving us glimpses of hope
for what’s to come
I am a presence in your life
that will always be
Oh, can’t you see
I share your every step
your every breath
I feel every pain
and laugh with every joy
that tickles your life
I am a presence that is with you
through thick and thin
Oh if only you knew, I have always been
Even in times I cannot show
Even in times you couldn’t have known
I have always been there
for I cannot be anywhere else

Know that in your darkest hour
all you need to do is call on me
Call on my presence and I will be
Then close your eyes and feel
Feel my wings embrace you
and brush away your tears
Feel my love dissolve your fears
and in that moment, know
that you are dearly loved
