“Rays of Love”
My love, you're gone
away from my life
temporarily suspended
in God knows where
but I continue to hold you there
in my heart, in the center of my being
where hope still lives
for us
I ask God for a sign
that you're still alive
that you're still mine
and every time I get a gold mine
of shooting rays of sun
beaming down
into my world, illuminating
the darkest corners
of my heart
pouring in love, and trust, and faith
Every time I see a ray
from the sun,
I bask in the illumination of
knowing
that we're still one
I love you, my Darling
forever in the splendor
of divine intimacy
Forever in the splendor
of You & I
