“Snow Globe”
Inside this sphere
lives the silence
of falling snow
Whispering winds
the only melody
kissed by the delicate
cushion of whiteness
How easily I lose myself
in the blissful silence
of this gentle world
Until I put it down
resuming the frown
of contrast and sound
permeating my world
Oh how I long to live inside
the sound of silence falling
forever
