“The Way You Make Me Feel”

as I sit here thinking of us
I feel a pain, a longing
deep within my heart

it permeates me entirely
and just when I feel
I can't take anymore
the pain ignites into
passion, spreading
opening me up like a
lotus blossoming
into forever

this must be love
I think to myself
for I have never felt
more alive
more vibrant
more beautiful
