“Whispering Melody”
There's a memory in my heart
That lingers, joyful
However fleeting it may be
In it's haunting frailty
The dominant sorrow
Carved into my fibre
By fear of loss and of
what may never be
How I yearn for the
Strength of the
Melody

This was written for a poetry challenge to imaging you're walking down the corridor of a seemingly empty building, feeling a multitude of emotions. You close your eyes - what do you see? Choose your perception of what you may feel and write a poem, also including the following words:
yearn, joyful, frailty, strength, fibre, loss, memory, dominant, sorrow and fear.
